Meet the Dentist Behind Your Smile

Dr Andrew El-Khanagry, known to his patients simply as Dr Andy, is a general dentist with a particular interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Alongside his BDS, he holds Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a Postgraduate Diploma in Prosthodontics. That training shapes everything he does: every smile is planned from the foundations up, so it looks natural, works beautifully and is built to last.

Based at Casa Dental UK in Derby, he has treated more than 1,000 cases, from subtle composite refinements to complete smile makeovers. Some of the moments he is proudest of belong to nervous patients who walked in anxious and left smiling. His philosophy is simple: treat every smile as if it were the only one, with meticulous care and genuine warmth.

Beyond the clinic, Dr Andrew is a co-founder and trustee of @mobile.smiles.charity, a mobile dental charity that brings dental care to people who need it most. He has also been a guest on the Dental Leaders podcast, talking about his career and the charity's work. Whether in Derby or halfway across the world, the goal is always the same: to give people a smile they feel proud of.
