Who we are
This website, smilesbyandy.co.uk, is run by Dr Andrew El-Khanagry (GDC No. 290345), who is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller. Dental treatment is provided at Casa Dental UK, 54 Osmaston Road, Derby DE1 2HU.
Information collected by this website
This website does not ask you to create an account and does not collect personal details through forms. We only collect information in the ways below.
- Analytics cookies (only with your consent). If you choose “Accept analytics”, we use Google Analytics to understand, in general terms, how visitors use the site, for example which pages are popular. This helps us improve the website. It does not tell us who you are. If you choose “Reject”, no analytics cookies are set.
- Your cookie choice. We remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics, using your browser's storage, so we don't ask you on every page.
- Website fonts. The text fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. To deliver them, Google receives your device's IP address. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
- Hosting. Our hosting provider, Fasthosts, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
Booking, phone calls and messages
When you book an appointment you are taken to the practice's secure booking system (Dentally), run by Casa Dental UK. Any details you enter there, and your dental records, are held by the practice under its own privacy policy: Casa Dental privacy policy. If you message us on Instagram, Instagram's own privacy policy applies to that conversation.
Before and after photos
Every patient photo on this website is shown with that patient's written consent. Patients can withdraw their consent at any time and their photos will be removed.
